Amazon Floating Cabins
Location: Remote Rio Negro tributaries, Brazil Type: Lodge
Exclusive Short Trip Program!
If you are looking for a real Amazon Peacock Bass adventure where you can reasonably expect to catch as
many as a hundred fish a day (during optimum water levels), there is really only one choice; Trek's floating cabin program.
The best habitat to take volume peacock bass is as close to
the headwaters as you can get and away from more accessible waters that are heavily fished. By towing the floating cabins and supplies to remote areas and past natural
barriers that protect the fishery, you have a recipe for success. Anglers are then flown into these areas from the
Amazon capital city of Manaus by floatplane where Trek has designed an exclusive short trip program that includes four and half days fishing in less than a week's time. No more 10
-11 day trips needed.
Our program has four 10 ft. x15 ft. air conditioned cabins that
accommodate only eight anglers a trip and while the fishing is the main focus, you will see parts of the Amazon others
cannot. Huge crocs, jaguars, capybaras, macaws, and incredible fauna are all on display every day. The
season is October- March and Trek has a limited selection of dates to offer. Call our toll free number at 800 654
