Rio Negro aerial The Amazon Tours' Rio Negro Lodge, with a staff of 150 to service 42 anglers per week, offers the sportsman the finest accommodations and fishing for Peacock Bass in Brazil.  The lodge consists of a 5000-square-foot main lodge, a 90,000 gallon pool and twelve 900-square-foot, fully air-conditioned private cabanas with hot water. Our Nitro 750 LX fiberglass bass boats equipped with 90 HP 4-cycle outboards and experienced guides, fishing equipment and lures, open bar, daily laundry service, fine food, lodging are furnished in the trip price. Fly-out fishing is also available in one of our three company-owned Maule float plane for an additional $500 per person. During the 2003-2004 season, our anglers boated over 260 peacocks weighing 20 pounds or better, with over 1200 weighing 15 pounds or better! Five current  IGFA world record peacocks have been caught by Amazon Tours anglers, including the IGFA 27-pound all tackle world record.
