The clear water Dorado fishing doesn't get any better than at the luxury camp, Rio Claro Lodge, near the Ibera Marsh. The marsh consists of 3 million acres of pristine wetlands and wildlife preserves. Fish from the
area average 6 pounds and may get as big as 20 pounds. Anglers may use either fly tackle or casting gear. The outfitters, two Argentine brothers, Nick and Dickie Miles, have spent many years developing this
area and are extremely knowledgeable about the best fishing opportunities. The lodge offers all the true comfort of a perfect African-style safari camp, with electricity, running
water, a roomy living and dining room, bar, fly-tying bench and 3 double cabins with private verandas facing the marsh. The lodge is very exclusive, hosting a maximum of six anglers per
week to assure unspoiled fishing for all rods. The brothers also offer excellent fishing in the Parana Basin near Goya, the second largest freshwater system in the world. Although the water
offers less visibility, the Dorado are larger in this location. Accommodations are at the first class La Posada Lodge.
