book for a time that works best for you. This is the big fish location. Many peacock bass over 20-pounds are landed here and you start counting if they are 10 pounds. After dinner, fish
for an hour or two for big unusual catfish. The Itapara Lodge is remote - a five hour fast boat ride to the nearest habitation. You'll see an abundance of bird and wildlife here including
jabiru storks, large macaws, parrots, ibis, tapir, monkeys, freshwater porpoise, otters and manatees. Waters here are normally fishable from November through
mid-March. Trip includes roundtrip air Manaus to lodge, airport reception, lodging, meals, guided fishing and fishing license. Larry furnishes all lures and flies on hosted trips. Check out our website at
