River Plate Fly-In Cabin Barges
Peacock bass fishing Cabin Barges

Location: Remote Rio Negro Tributaries, North and West of Manaus, Brazil
Type:  Lodge

Peacock bass fishing River Plate PeacockOur clients commonly catch 20-30 good fish each day, from 3 to 6-pound "butterflies" to 10 to 25-pound "barred" or "spotted" super lunkers.  The key to this extraordinary fishing are our two state-of-the-art Cessna Caravan float planes which whisk clients directly from the Manaus airport to pristine locations far (often hundreds of miles) from the melee of competing lodges and house boats, and landing at the barge camp accommodations.

We have exclusive rights to two updated camps in the Rio Negro Basin for the entire season.

Each camp this season will offer satellite phones and rental tackle.  Some of the Rio Negro tributaries we fish are the Caures, the Unini, the Demeni, the Tapara and others. Please call us for more information and be sure to ask for our statistical fishing reports.
