Anglers Inn Mexico

This lake in the foothills of the Sierra Madres is approximately 24,000 surface acres, 20 miles long with 45 miles of shoreline.
The bassy waters include numerous islands and partially submerged cemeteries. Fed by the Elota River, Lake El Salto is
located 75 miles north of Mazatlan in the state of Sinaloa. Anglers can expect an average of 30 to 80 bass per day, per
boat, with fish averaging 4 to 6 pounds and up to 18 pounds. Good topwater action occurs from October through April.
Spawning occurs February through March. The comfortable Anglers Inn has private rooms and showers, air conditioning,
a full-service restaurant and bar, tackle shop, daily laundry, satellite TV in the bar, dining area and all guest rooms,
telephone and Wireless Internet service. Meals include American-style buffet breakfasts; hamburgers, tacos, salads
and soups for lunch; fillet mignon, jumbo shrimp, chicken or fish for dinner.
Guides use Tracker bass boats and 48-horsepower Yamaha motors and trolling motors on both bow and transom.
Packages run from $1,745 per person to $1,995 per person and include four nights of lodging and three days of fishing.
Ocean fishing at Mazatlan can be arranged with a stay at the Holiday Inn Sun Spree Resort. Prices don't include airfare to
Mazatlan, gratuities for guides and staff. Anglers Inn can also customize your package with a wide variety of activities
to chose from such as light tackle fishing, bill fishing, dove and duck hunting or riding new Harley Davidson Motorcycles through the Sierra Madre Mountains.
