Was contacted again by Milton Cardille today of the high waters at Itapara. Was suppose to leave Tuesday, but decided to postpone till end of Feb. Milton says a group currently at the lodge have not caught any peacocks in 3 days of fishing. Felt better to postpone then to go for a "boat ride"

Anyone else experiencing high water levels in the rivers you are fishing or plan on going?

Was notified today-Saturday- my Milton Cardille, owner of Itapara Lodge that the waters are coming down very fast. Says it should be back to slightly above normal levels in a couple of days. So, if you heading up there next week, you probably will go. 8)
