Not that many groups will be fishing this same river (up by the rocks at Santa Isabel), but we just returned on Sunday. Fishing was slow (550 fish for the week with 14 fisherman), but we caught a good percentage of big fish. Water was falling with little to no rain.

The group had 8 fish over 20 lbs with the largest being 24 lbs. I got my personal best at 22 lbs along with a couple 17's, a cople 16's and four more 'teeners'. Most of the big fish action was on lighter colored High Rollers or Woodchoppers, but one fellow took two 20 lbs fish on jigs (yellow/red with rattle).

At the airport I met up with the Don Cutter group from the Unini and they had a phenomonal week. Apparently a record for big fish. So if your going down soon, expect some big fish

Nice job. Don't forget to enter your biggest fish in our PBA World Trophy Peacock Bass Contest. You can get the Contest Entry Form on our website. As you know, we'll have 3 or 4 winners and you don't even have to have the biggest fish to win a great prize.

Hope you left a few for the rest of us!
