|"The World of Peacock Bass" January-February 2018 Issue is now out. This issue features news of a pending new All-Tackle IGFA World Record speckled peacock bass! Weight, length, where caught and when are revealed. PBA members will also read about Larry Larsen's newly discovered "must have" lure that all peacock chasers should carry to any Amazon tributary if they are interested in giant fish. There is also news of a previously un-fished (and unpredictable) Amazon "exploratory trip" being offered by one of our long-time outfitters. PBA members will read about some very dangerous times that some of us will experience while in the Amazon jungle waters. Our eZine readers will also learn about a newly discovered trophy Payara fishery that is now being offered in South American waters.
Readers will learn about a new loading dock for boat access at a well-known Mexican lodge on one of the country's most popular lakes and about some newly installed sonar units on all of their bass boats. There is important news for many of our readers in certain states where a passport is now required for any flight, even within U.S. borders. Get up to speed on the Real ID Act and its requirements! In our mailbag this month, you will read about an Amazon outfitter's new Italian chef that will be upgrading meals and about the possibilities of locating "Day Guides" in Brazil's Amazonas state. There is also info on a Dallas Safari Club booth invite from one of our outfitters and about a film trailer just released on the Rio de Gigantes in northern Brazil. All members will also have access to CLUB CONCIERGE, as usual. Enjoy!
