|"The World of Peacock Bass" September-October 2016 Issue is now out. This issue features breaking news about brand new peacock bass tackle scheduled to be available later this year or in early 2017. Some lures just introduced to media and retailers have attracted big time attention from peacock bass chasers. PBA members will learn of an Amazon outfitter and explorer that is now offering as an option special kayak fishing adventures in very remote regions. Members will learn about a last minute deal for fly fishermen that can save them close to two grand! And eZine readers can also learn of the resumption of a Miami-Manaus, Brazil round trip flight by a Brazilian carrier on an "only" one day a week basis. Readers will learn of new information about a famous Brazilian trophy fishery opening up to conventional anglers (it has been available only exclusively to fly fishermen for the last few years).
PBA members will also learn about a Colombian fly fishing outfitter that is now offering conventional tackle anglers some trips to new rivers in that country. There is info on a new operating partner that has joined one of the largest warm water fishing tour agencies and one of PBA's original Supporting Members. Also, another outfitter has just announced a modification to their website that allows clients to post all of their trip photos in an online gallery, for all to see or for selected people to view. In our mailbag this month, you will read about how line color may affect (or not) peacock bass strikes. There is also information on Brazil's seasonal Visa processing delays. All members will also have access to CLUB CONCIERGE, as usual. Enjoy!
