|Although most outfitters have closed down their operations for the season, a few are finding waters still low enough to fish and are catching some good size peacocks, according to Brazilian sources. Most American operations close in February or early March due to typically unpredictable water levels in March and April of most years. Some years however offer waters that remain low through April and may be very productive for those anglers that have an interest in going fishing late in the season.
For most of us, we will wait for the (Northern hemisphere) Fall to again get in on the peacock bass action.
