Been trying adding a 3rd hook to a medium-sized chopper bait and was initially concerned about tail weight. So much so, I was willing to forgo the tail hook altogether.

However, I tried one with a tail hook on it and even though it pointed nearly straight up at rest, after I got it moving, it ran just fine ... "on plane"

That could bode well for those wanting a heavier hook at the rear or adding a hook as with my concept.
