|"The World of Peacock Bass" October '12 Issue is now out. This issue features an extensive lead article on the retirement of a legendary outfitting pioneer and the new managerial structure now in place. PBA members will also learn of an outfitter that has negotiated a sportfishing river contract with tribal leaders and Brazilian officials. You'll also find news of some new rods that another outfitter has added to his Amazon yacht operation. Members will also learn of a new World Record Dorado Catch and of new Argentina visa requirements for Americans venturing there to fish for those dorados.
PBA members will also find information on a recent Amazonas region "Indian massacre" that was falsely reported and about some interesting PBA Forum Posts. You will find an article on peacock bass spawning and coloration differences, and there is more news in our mailbag. You will read about Florida peacock waters that may now be fenced off and about a supporting member that is looking for singles and offers some new peacock bass lure packages.
