I picked up a few of the new Heddon Super Spook XTs that came out recently. Not wide-spread availablility yet, but you can get at Bass Pro Shops online.

What is new is that they have stronger hardware and only two hooks. I still changed out the hooks and rings, but the lure body connections are more robust than standard spooks.

Only curious thing is the hook closest to the lure head is a much lower on the body than standard Super Spooks ... hopefully that helps and doesn't hurt hook-sets.

I went with the bone, red head flash, and the bunker colors.

Art or anyone else. How would you compare these spooks to the models made by Poe?

These spooks all caught peacocks (in bone, red head flash, and the bunker colors). Bunker color caught the most (most expected the bone to be the champ).
