I used a blue and silver Tobimaru on my last trip, with some success, but I think the color could have been better for tannin waters.

If red and yellow does so well with jigs, why not for these baits?

Here is a photo of the three:

I still have to change out the hooks and rings. But I did throw them as-is and had a few observations.

TOP IN PHOTO:

Yo-Zuri Tobimaru 130F F5/C17
5 1/4" and 1 oz. Floating
- Many have used these, this one is just a rare color (neon orange) to find, thought it might be good for heavily stained waters. It casts far and runs deep enough to give you trouble near sandbars ... I found it great for trolling.

MIDDLE IN PHOTO
Yo-Zuri F8-GHBR Floating Crystal Minnow
5 1/4" and 5/8 oz. Floating
- Perfect colors! Floats a bit while casting, and like the Tobimaru runs a bit too deep for shallow action (but less deep than the Tobimaru)

BOTTOM IN PHOTO
Yo-Zuri Dolce 125F (Floating) - MHGR (F882-MHGR)
4.9" and 0.67 oz Floating
- This one looks great in the water and runs shallow enough for all around use (even sandbars to a degree). Floats a bit while casting as with the Crystal Minnow, and I have some concern about how strong the lure is overall (current hooks are weak, but I will only use 2 replacement hooks). I want this one to work out.
