Have any you gentlemen ever gave any consideration with a trip outfitted by The Dawn On The Amazon run by Bill Grimes out of Iquitos Peru? Looks like he caters to the Eco crowd for his main occupation with some smaller peacock and other exotic fish thrown in and he visit a lot of the far out reserves. Looks like he runs a good operation and the Dawn III is beautiful wood craved ship. It's worth going on line just to view the ship. It has four cabins so you would never be crowded for sure. Take a look and she what you older guys think.

Bobby,

Bill has a very interesting Captain's blog on his website and lots of interesting pictures. He is on the upper reaches of the Amazon a lot and has been a loyal member of PBA for several years. Check out his PBA Directory page also at http://www.peacockbassassociation.com/html/dawn_peru.html

It is a very interesting looking boat and Peru is a very interesting country with lots of opportunities to see animals and birdlife in nature's wild. I've been on the upper reaches of the Amazon there 3 times and it is a whole different experience than Brazil. Lots of fish there to catch.[/url]
