Just returned from Mingzhu Lake which is on Chongming Island in Shanghi China. The lake was embanked from the Yangtze River's estuary in the 1970s. The bite was tough but my partner landed 2 monster Yellowcheek est at 100 and 70lbs. I have no idea why they are classified as carp as they are very long with a huge forked tail giving them tremendous speed. They also have large scales and a sharp pointed mouth. They look more like a cross between a pike and a barracuda. China us a great place to visit so if your near Shanghi give Yellowcheek a try. Cool
