Returned yesterday. Did a "yacht" trip on the upriver loop out of Barcelos.

11 Anglers
1686 total Peacocks
35 @ 10# or bigger. biggest @ 20#

Water was on the high side but within the banks. Water levels had reportedly started slowly rising two days before our arrival in Barcelos and continued rising our first three days. Levels started falling during our last three days. All boats caught fish every day. Top water bite vastly improved during our last two fishing days (12/7 & 12/8). Dolphins were a major nuisance all week.

Very pleased with results of both of my trips to date this season. Good luck to all with future trips.

We appreciate the update. Glad your trip was productive. I have heard that the water levels might be a little more productive if they fell another foot or two. But you never know. You did well so that's great. The first week in Dec. is often very good.
