Throughout the Amazon Basin and even in the Orinoco Basin, fisheries in the past 5 months have experienced some of the lowest water levels in many years. That's mostly due to El Nino effect this past "season" which seemed to have a huge impact on rainfall and water levels. Let's hope a more normal fall "season" returns so that our anglers can more easily navigate peacock bass waters and find the fish they seek.
