Just obtained a few bags of Capella Snaps. These are without a doubt the strongest snaps I have ever seen. Very hard time opening even with pliers. Will work great on leaders for strong fighters.

Bob,

Sounds like the snaps I had on the end of the four wires off a beefy Alabama Rig that I took down to the Amazon one time. I got frustrated trying to open and close them (with pliars even) the few times I needed to change jig heads. Smile Smile

Finally left them at home on my next trip down!!! It kind of defeats the purpose if they CAN'T be opened. I needed PopEye to help. I imagine you need them for the giant dorado though. Even the smaller ones can open snaps occasionally. Very Happy
