Heading to Papau New Guinea next month in the remost part of the jungle for PNG bass. Was wondering if anybody on this forum has experienced battling the PNG bass and could offer some tackle tips.
Thanks Bob Daly Cool

Just returned from PNG. Fantastic as we shattered the lodge 38lbd black bass record and 63lbs barra record with PNG black bass at 46.42.40, and another 40 plus monster barras at 70 and another 70lbs. However very difficult to get these monsters to bite. We fished in very low conditons as snags are frequent in the log jams where these black bass roam plus cooler weather in the high 70s. In my eyes just having the opportunity to meet/live with the native tribes was a highlight of my fishing adventures. Anybody interested send me an email at doradokiller@hotmail.com Cool
